Follow Mattias Klum to Shanghai!

City & Nature – a Global Competition

Sweco and Tierra Grande are pleased to invite photographers from all over the world to participate in the global photo contest ”City and Nature”. The purpose of the contest is to create and enhance awareness of and draw attention to environmental issues in an urban context. The competitors are asked to show the interaction between the city and nature and how they can evolve together.

The top 5 contestants will be invited to Shanghai in September to participate in a one-day photo workshop together with Mattias Klum and architects from Sweco. A prize ceremony will be held in the Swedish pavilion on 16 September 2010, where the winners will be presented. Selected contributions from the competition and the photo workshop will also be displayed in an exhibition, arranged by Sweco and Tierra Grande, at the Architecture Museum in Stockholm during November 2010.

The jury consists of Mattias Klum, world-renowned photographer (chairman), Bob Lee, Professor at Konstfack, Annika Rembe, Commissioner-General of the Swedish Expo 2010 Committee, and Eva Nygren, President of Sweco Sweden.
