The Swedish pavilion is 50 per cent financed by the government and 50 per cent by business. Sweden’s participation is aimed primarily at promoting trade, and Swedish companies with business interests in China have been invited to help design the pavilion. All potential co-financers that have expressed interest have been interviewed and invited to take part.
Packages are available to enterprises and organizations that wish to use the Swedish pavilion as a platform for their business contacts in China. Cooperation with the member organizations of NSU, the national network for promoting Sweden abroad, is an integral part of Sweden’s involvement in World Expo 2010. These organizations are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish Export Council, Invest in Sweden Agency and Visit Sweden.
