Communication
A communication strategy for the Swedish participation was created in order to streamline the messages and to create effective communication. In this strategy it was stated the the goal with all communication in the Swedish participation in Expo 2010 was to create a comprehensive and positive image of Sweden, and an understanding of the country as an innovative nation with focus on the individual and the environment. Another goal was to present the participation as a platform for Sino-Swedish collaboration.
Intensive communication activities took place both before and during the Expo. The interest from Chinese media was huge. The Swedish theme was communicated in a variety of contexts and through different channels. A series of communication activities were also carried out to create awareness for the Swedish participation in Expo 2010.
